Identity is made from proportion, shadow and light rather than ornament.

A contemporary mosque built from proportion, threshold and filtered light rather than ornament. The design concentrates on the transition from everyday movement into stillness.

Clear massing, layered thresholds and shaded transition zones lead to the prayer hall, which is held as the spatial and emotional centre of the project.
