The square is read as a metropolitan system, not as a traffic surface.

A competition proposal reading Ramsis Square as a metropolitan system rather than a traffic surface. Overlapping transport, fragmented pedestrian movement and major landmarks are addressed as one connected network.

The strategy reorganises movement into continuous shaded pedestrian routes, treats interchange points as public rooms, and is structured so it can be delivered in phases.
